IFRG provides funding for financially-struggling families in Western PA. We help single parents who are going back to school, families who are working their way out of poverty, and kids needing help to do well in school. CETAP provides funding for single-parent students (full-time or part-time) attending a trade/technical school, college, or university. In addition, this program provides funds to pay for professional fees that help alleviate other barriers to continuing education and employment.
FAP provides family-budget funds for single parents to pay rent, utilities, prescriptions and medical bills, child care and other essential needs while a full-time student.
LSRP provides funding for private evaluation, academic workshops, and specialized therapies for school-aged students of single-parent/single-income families whose learning disabilities and developmental delays don’t meet the mandatory requirements for 504 and/or IEP support by their school and whose care isn’t covered by medical insurance.
